Jeff Quigley from Emu Parks Studioquigs has stepped in at short notice to assist Rob Tait with the urgent rebuild and updating of the Museums Website. (4/7/2019)
The upgrade was forced upon the Museum via serious internet security matters and the fact that our previous website was seriously outdated it made it very vunerable to the possibility of such future attacks.
There has been no charge to the Museum for the setting up of the web pages, nor for the setting up of the web server and associated software to make the web site safe and user friendly.
As with our previous website, future work will be undertaken by volunteer members of the Museum with assistance and guidance of Rob and Jeff.
Original Webpage for Emu Park Historical Museum
Friday, May 22nd, 2009 Emu Park Museum webpage is launched on 22nd May 2009. Default pages were setup by Rob Tait from VTE Computer Services using a modified WordPress template. We were fortunate to be able to register our new domain using the org.au designation which is very economical for not for profit organizations and charitable institutions.
There has been no charge to the Museum for the setting up of the web pages, nor for the setting up of the web server and associated software to make the web site happen.
Future work on this site will be undertaken by volunteer members of the Museum with assistance to get started by Rob.
